Mike Johnson, Law and Public Safety program instructor at the Wyoming County Career and Technical Center, participated in a two day training to learn the operations and the use of Force Simulation Training. The trainer was Ray Minor who works for Ti Training from Colorado.
This simulation training program has 830 senerios to put students in real world situations. The situations included are Firearms, Taser, Asp Baton, and OC Spray situations. This will allow the students to participate in simulated real life situations to better prepare them for a career in public safety. ⛑

Students in the Electronic Technology Program constructed blue tooth speakers. They assembled each step by following specific directions. The students then wired each speaker box and secured the wires together with melting solder. The speakers were then tested and all worked successfully.🔊

The Wyoming County Career and Technical Center has received five Oculus TranfrVR headsets to be used for Career Exploration. Counselor Mitchell Church, Instructors Tim Weaver and Jaime Brooks, Assistant Principal Luke Stevens and Principal Stacey Lusk were trained on how to set them up and use them for Career Exploration and recruitment. They allow the students to observe and participate in program related activities virtually. ❤️
