Today, The Wyoming County Career and Technical Center with support from the Wyoming County Board of Education, entered into a partnership agreement with Bluefield State University. This articulation agreement will allow students who complete two years of Law and Public Safety at the WCCTC to potentially earn up to 14 credits in the Criminal Justice program at BSU. Signing the agreement today (from left to right) is: Mike Johnson, Law and Public Safety Instructor, WCCTC; Stacey Lusk, Principal WCCTC; Dr. Ted Lewis, Provost, Vice President of Academic and Student Affairs, BSU; and James Quesenberry BSU Visiting Instructor/Criminal Justice. The Wyoming County Career and Technical Center along with Wyoming County Schools is excited to enter into this partnership with Bluefield State University and provide this awesome opportunity to our students!

WCCTC will be holding our National Technical Honor Society inductions on Thursday, May 5, 2022, at 6:00p.m. Students have been given a form to RSVP for the ceremony. It needs to be returned by Tuesday, May 3, 2022. It was also sent to the inductees LiveGrades account.🏅

Raleigh General Hospital hosted a blood drive on April 20, 2022. WCCTC Practical Nursing students Angela Lanning, McKenzie Bailey, and Michelle Bailey assisted the American Red Cross in registering patients, helping with the canteen and walking with patients as needed. The WCCTC is proud of these students for volunteering their time over spring break.👏🏼🧑⚕️
