Emily A Johnson, a senior varsity basketball player at Westside High School, was chosen as Westside’s 2021 Heisman Scholarship Winner. A Fairmont State University representative visited Westside High School juniors and seniors on Thursday in honor of College Application and Exploration Week. Students learned about programs, majors, and all other activities Fairmont State has to offer. The Westside High Marching Band placed fourth at the West Virginia Marching Band Invitational on October 23 in Charleston. Drum Major, Aiden Blankenship, placed third overall. The drum line placed second. The color guard team placed third. The band is under the direction of Mr. Chris Baber.

AM Runs: Westside High School Students in Ike’s Fork and Lower Muzzle will need to meet the Bus on the main road. Bus 151 will be picking those students up around 6:30am! Huff Elementary and Middle School Bus 151 will begin to pick students up that ride Bus 158 beginning around 8:45 PM Runs: Westside High School Ike’s Fork and Lower Muzzle students will need to meet on the main road Huff Consolidated Elementary and Middle Bus 158 students will be brought home on Bus 151.
